The Point of Sale Starter Kit includes a receipt printer, barcode scanner and
cash drawer.

- At least 1.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV (or equivalent) with 512MB of RAM
- 2.0 GHz Intel Pentium IV (or equivalent) with 2GB of RAM for Microsoft
Windows Vista, Windows 7 and 8 users
- Microsoft® Windows XP/Vista/7/8*
- Accounts Accounting, Plus, Pro, Premier or Enterprise 2013 pre-installed**
- 500MB of disk space for Point of Sale installation
- 1GB of disk space for Reckon Accounts installation

Point of Sale operates within a Windows XP Home/Vista Home Basic/Vista Home
Premium/7 Home Premium/Windows 8 single machine environment, however it does not
operate within a Windows XP Home/Vista Home Basic/Vista Home Premium/7 Home
Premium/Windows 8 networked environment. Windows XP Pro, Vista Business, Win7
and Win8 Pro or higher versions of theses Operating Systems are supported in a
networked environment.
* Windows 7 & 8 64-bit and Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit currently
supported.
** Accounts software system requirements are higher than Point of Sale.
Accounts System Requirements
- At least 2.0 GHZ Intel Pentium IV (or equivalent)
- At least 512MB of RAM for a single user and at least 1GB of RAM for
multiple, concurrent users
- 1GB of RAM required for Windows Vista/7/8 (Win 8 requires 1GB for 32Bit
& 2GB for 64Bit) and Windows Server 2003/2008/2012*
- Windows XP/Vista/7/8 operating system
- 1GB of disk space (additional space required for company files)
- Internet Explorer 7.0 or later required
- Microsoft .NET Framework Common Language Runtime 2.0 and 3.5 (provided on
Reckon Accounts Installation DVD. Requires an additional 150MB)
- NZ Only: Microsoft .NET 4.0 for the EMS Checker (provided on Reckon
