CA ARCserve Backup’s built-in data deduplication reduces storage
requirements, delays CAPEX and improves RTO by storing more backups on disk.
SRM is now delivered as part of the backup system easing implementation and
providing data in a simple report format, enhancing efficiencies in managing
your entire environment, not just backups. One-step granular file recovery
from a VM image backup saves both time and money by eliminating the need for a
staged recovery. Finally, new Media Assure technology significantly reduces
risk by validating the recoverability of your backup data in the event of a

INTEGRATED DATA DEDUPLICATION
Improves the economics of disk-based backup solutions by enabling longer
retention periods, providing you with a cost-effective means of reducing storage
needs, protecting critical data and integrating, configuring and managing
deduplication in your existing backup environment.
ENHANCED VIRTUALISATION SUPPORT
Allows you to perform image- and file-level backup and restores in VMware and
Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 environments, and establish a schedule for full,
image-level and daily incremental backups as your needs dictate. In addition,
new, unique “1-step" granular recovery provides you with a fast and
